Fujian University of Technology and Aolan Deepen Industry-Academia-Research Collaboration to Jointly Promote Talent Cultivation and Industrial Synergistic Development

On October 24, 2025, a delegation led by Professor Zhang Zhi, Dean of the School of Ecology, Environment and Urban Construction at Fujian University of Technology, visited Aolan for investigation and exchange. An industry mentor appointment ceremony was also held. Both sides held in-depth discussions on deepening industry-academia-research collaboration, aligning talent cultivation with industrial needs, and reached multiple consensuses.

During this event, the Fujian University of Technology delegation comprised seven members: Dean of the School of Ecology, Environment and Urban Construction and Dean of the Industry College Zhang Zhi; Deputy Party Secretary of the School and Vice Dean of the Industry College Fu Jianqing; Vice Dean of the School and Executive Vice Dean of the Industry College Qiu Jinyou; Vice Dean of the School and Vice Dean of the Industry College Ding Cuicui; Program Head of Building Environment and Energy Engineering Fan Yaming; Assistant Dean and Director of the Industry College Office Qu Yang; and School Youth League Committee Secretary Lu Zhenfei. Aolan was represented by Chairman Huang Hualing, Professor-level Senior Engineer and Chief Engineer He Huaming, General Manager Assistant Lan Jinsheng, Technical Director Lin Rongjiao, Marketing Center Director Dong Yingling, and Senior Engineer Guo Gaiying. During the event, He Huaming, Lin Rongjiao, and Guo Gaiying were officially appointed as Industry Mentors for postgraduate students at Fujian University of Technology, marking a solid step forward in the collaboration on joint talent cultivation.

Aolan and Fujian University of Technology have a long-standing industry-academia-research partnership, having initially begun exploratory cooperation with Fujian Institute of Technology back in 2016. Following its upgrade to Fujian University of Technology in 2024, the two parties signed another university-enterprise cooperation agreement. This recent exchange and appointment activity further solidifies the foundation of their collaboration, ushering in a new stage characterized by "joint talent cultivation and project research." During the exchange session, discussions focused on the deep integration of industrial needs and talent cultivation. Chairman Huang Hualing expressed that Aolan highly values collaborative innovation with universities. He noted that the professionally trained talents "tailor-made" by Fujian University of Technology in recent years have become core forces in product research and development and market expansion. He looks forward to future cooperation moving from theory to practical implementation, achieving complementary resources and mutual benefits for both parties. Chief Engineer He Huaming, based on actual enterprise needs, suggested that the university could offer courses related to simulation modeling. This would aid in the visual presentation of customer projects and enhance product application efficiency.

Dean Zhang Zhi highly commended Aolan's recent technological breakthroughs and industrial strength in its specialized field. He pointed out that within the university-enterprise cooperation, students transform theoretical knowledge into practical application abilities through hands-on experience, and their growth gaining recognition from enterprises demonstrates the value of integrating industry and education. He suggested that both sides could explore pathways such as combining graduation projects with enterprise projects, jointly compiling national and industry standards, and co-developing patented technologies to deepen collaborative education comprehensively.

In response to the talent cultivation needs raised by the enterprise, Vice Dean Qiu Jinyou stated that the School would adjust its 2025 talent cultivation plan to promote the establishment of courses related to simulation modeling. Simultaneously, Aolan is invited to participate in textbook revisions to ensure the curriculum accurately aligns with actual enterprise needs, thereby helping to enhance students' practical abilities and employment rates.

This investigation, exchange, and appointment activity further consolidated the consensus on cooperation between the university and the enterprise. Both sides have reached preliminary cooperative intentions on specific matters including joint curriculum development, textbook revision, and collaborative project research. In the future, using talent cultivation as the link and technological innovation as the driver, they will continue to deepen industry-academia-research synergy, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
