Project Overview

This project is located in a steel-structured, semi-open fresh market in Fuzhou, Fujian Province. Although such spaces naturally have a foundation for natural ventilation, multiple factors—such as the high heat absorption rate of the steel structure, high personnel density, and continuous heat dissipation from fresh goods—have led to long‑standing issues including localized heat buildup and low air circulation efficiency. These problems directly affect the business operations of vendors and the shopping experience of consumers. To improve the internal environment of the market, the project adopted an Aolan evaporative air cooler system as the solution, deploying 21 units to complete the overall ventilation and cooling retrofit.

Operation Mode

The system is equipped with an intelligent group control module that enables centralized management of all units. The 21 Aolan evaporative air coolers are uniformly installed on the market roof, with mushroom‑shaped air outlets at the terminals. This design ensures even distribution of cooling capacity throughout the entire space, providing cold air coverage without blind spots and significantly enhancing air circulation within the market.

Project Significance

To date, the Aolan evaporative air cooler system has been operating under stable conditions. The equipment has effectively alleviated the stuffy and hot environment inside the market, creating a comfortable working environment for vendors while significantly improving the shopping experience for consumers. The retrofit has successfully achieved the goal of upgrading the environmental quality of the market space.
